Providing support is more than what we say—it’s how we show up. This workshop focuses on creating environments where people feel safe, respected, and free to be vulnerable. Participants will explore presence, boundaries, and relational skills that help build trust and open the door to deeper, more meaningful recovery conversations.
Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Describe how judgment, stigma, and social disconnection influence a person’s willingness to seek support and engage authentically.
2. Identify key principles of creating space and holding the room in helping relationships and everyday interactions.
3. Demonstrate practical communication skills that help others feel seen, heard, valued, and respected.
