Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the roles, responsibilities, boundaries, and perspectives of professionals working across behavioral health and social service systems.
2. Apply person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive communication strategies when collaborating with peers and other service providers.
3. Use strategies for coordinating services, sharing information appropriately, and supporting collaborative decision-making.
4. Recognize common sources of team conflict and apply constructive approaches to clarification, feedback, and conflict resolution.
5. Identify actions they can take to strengthen collaboration while maintaining professional ethics, role clarity, and the distinct values of peer support.
